L’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità di Ginevra, Dipartimento di Salute Mentale e Abuso di Sostanze ha chiesto al Centro Collaboratore OMS di Trieste per la Ricerca e la Formazione in Salute Mentale – Dipartimento di Salute Mentale, ASUI Trieste  di ospitare,  nell’ambito del progetto “QualityRights”, il gruppo di lavoro “Mental Health Service Guidance – Recovery, people-centred & human rights-oriented approaches in mental health” per la realizzazione di un documento-guida che identifichi servizi di salute mentale territoriali che si basino sui seguenti presupposti:

  • centralità della persona
  • evitamento della coercizione
  • risposta alle esigenze delle persone
  • supporto alla recovery
  • promozione dell’autonomia e dell’inclusione, in linea con gli standard
  • internazionali dei diritti umani.
